Treat yourself to a creative night out just in time for Mother’s Day! Join Sugarcoated Bakery for a beginner-friendly spa day themed cookie decorating class at Stardust Vintage & Gift in Del Ray, Alexandria on Friday, May 8th from 7:00 to 8:30 PM.
In this relaxed, hands-on class, you’ll decorate six spa-inspired sugar cookies, including bubbles, a bathtub, cucumbers, slippers, a face mask, and a cozy robe. We’ll use both flood and stiff consistencies of royal icing to bring these adorable designs to life. We’ll start with a group presentation on cookies and royal icing, then review decorating fundamentals and practice before moving on to decorating our cookies. This class is beginner friendly and will include one-on-one guidance from our teacher, Amalea.
